まず、書籍から。

- Gregory Landini Russell, Routledge, The Routledge Philosophers Series, 2010
前者は Combinatory Logic の vol. 2. Vol. 1 は先日古書で購入していたので、今回は vol. 2 を確保。取り合えずは一部を拾い読みしたい。
後者は Landini さんによる Russell の入門書。かなり分厚い。小型の辞書みたいな厚さ。予想される通り、論理学の哲学や数学の哲学に多くのページが割かれていて、とても有用そう。Landini さんの書いたものであるから、論理式が(本書前半に)頻出する。しかも上付きや下付きの index を添えた式がたくさん出てくる。但し、少し読むと、入門書であるためか、込み入った式を詳細に読み解かなくとも、文章は読めるようになっているようです(少なくとも私が読んだ部分では)。何にしろ、Landini さん自身の研究結果が平易に書かれているので、便利だろうと思います。
次に、論文。やはり、Combinatory Logic に関係してくるもの。既に入手しているものもあるが、それは再入手。

Raymond 論文では、Aristotle's Modal Logic がしばしば混乱していると論難されていることから、Aristotle を擁護しているようです。
Han 論文でも、Wittgenstein が数学をよく理解していないと非難されることに対し、彼を弁護しているようです。
Robins 論文は、墨經の小取篇を読解することを通して、墨家の論理観を引き出そうと試みているようです。一言で言うと、狭義には後期墨家は小取篇で論理学を扱っていないことになるが、広義に取ると、そこでは実質的に論理学を扱っていると言ってよい、と述べられているようです。そして小取篇全文を掲げるとともに、その漢文(白文)からの英訳を載せておられます。
