先日、この貴重な文献をお分けいただきました。大変ありがとうございました。失礼ながら、大学紀要によくある古希記念号のような並製本・教科書サイズの本なのかなと、勝手に思い込んでいましたが、実物は大判上製本で、すごく立派なものであり、驚きました。
内容は和文論文12編と欧文論文16編。和文の方は、主に『科学基礎論研究』誌上に掲載された哲学的色合いの濃い論文が集められており、直観主義、interpolation theorem、自然数論、完全性証明、不完全性証明などを論じておられます。欧文の方ではやはり直観主義、ε-symbol、自然数論、Skolem's theorem、Skolem's paradox、無矛盾性、infinitely long expressions、カット、simple type theory、完全性証明などなどが取り上げられております。この他に先生の略歴と著作目録が付いております。とても便利な1冊です。

Fregeの数学の哲学に出てくるいわゆる抽象による定義の説明。この部分はcopyしてたかと思ったが、ない。かつて読んでいたから、あるはずなのだが…。本も古本で安いのを見かけたら今後買うことにする。しばしば古書店で目にするが、現在の復刊価格と同額か、それより高いことさえある…。これでは古書で買う意味がない。
