前者の Heck さんの本は、著者の既刊の論文集のようです。但し、単に既に出ている論文を集めただけという訳ではなく、収録論文12本中、5本には後記を付して、update を図っていますので、購入し甲斐がありそうです。
後者は Warsaw Uprising に関する証言集といったような感じの本。私は Warsaw Uprising について全く知らない。しかし知りたいと思っています。Poland 学派の中に The Cracow Circle というグループがあり、そのうちの一人として Jan Salamucha さんという方がいました。この方については Polish Philosophy Homepage の 'The Cracow Circle' というページの冒頭を見ると次のようにあります。

[T]he Cracow Circle counted a number of prestigious philosophers among its members, above all the Dominican Józef Maria Bochenski […] Another distinguished member was Father Jan Salamucha (1903-1944) who studied theology in Warsaw, where he also attended the lectures of Lukasiewicz and Stanislaw Lesniewski and specialised in the history of logic. Salamucha lost his life during the Warsaw Uprising.

という訳で、以前から Warsaw Uprising については気になっていました。
